LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of assaulting a Target employee after being asked to leave the property earlier this month.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Enterprise Area Command, the incident happened on Thursday, April 9, at the Target located at 4100 Blue Diamond Road, near Valley View Blvd.

Investigators say an employee contacted an unhoused man who was soliciting in front of the store and asked him to leave.

Police said the man refused and told the employee to call officers.

Officials then say the employee then backed away and walked back toward the store, when the suspect pushed the employee and then struck him in the back of the head.
