LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan police say they’ve located the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left one person dead — despite efforts to change its appearance

The crash happened around 3:40 Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Tonopah Drive. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say a black GMC pickup ran a red light, hit a pedestrian, and then just kept driving. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

LVMPD put out an urgent call for those with more information on the crash to provide tips, and early Tuesday morning the department’s traffic division posted this photo to social media showing the suspected truck painted yellow:
