LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum in northwest Las Vegas is waiving its usual $20 admission fee this week in celebration of the late artist’s birthday.
The museum, located inside a northwest valley neighborhood, showcases Abbey’s work across multiple mediums, including abstract pieces, figures and Southwest-inspired landscapes. The property also features a courtyard, desert garden and outdoor sculpture garden.

“It really is just a beautiful place to spend the afternoon, whether you’ve been 100 times or this is your first time,” said Lucy Formato, director of special events and public programming at the Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum.
Tickets are limited and must be reserved online through the museum’s website. Free admission runs through Sunday, July 26.
