LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A driver was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after striking an e-bike rider in a crosswalk in North Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Pecos Road and Cheyenne Avenue. A vehicle traveling northbound on Pecos was turning east onto Cheyenne when it struck an adult male riding an e-bike in the crosswalk.

Eastbound Cheyenne is currently closed due to the crash.
Victim transported to hospital
The e-bike rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. His condition was not released.
The vehicle driver was determined to be impaired and was placed under arrest, LVMPD said.
