LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — La Bonita Supermarkets is adding another stop for Las Vegas shoppers. The family-owned, locally operated Hispanic grocery chain will celebrate the grand opening of La Bonita Supermarkets #8 on Saturday, May 2, 2026, inviting the community to come out for an afternoon of food and giveaways.
The celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new store, located at 5051 E. Bonanza Road in Las Vegas.

If you go, La Bonita says customers can score a little extra to mark the occasion: two free tacos with any purchase during the event. There’s also a grand raffle planned, and the prize matches the milestone. One winner will receive free grocery shopping for eight months.
La Bonita says the opening continues its long presence in the valley, pointing to a 35-year tradition of serving the Las Vegas community. The company called the event a way to thank customers with “great food, exciting prizes, and the warm welcome our neighbors deserve.”
The grand opening is also meant to be a showcase for vendor partners. La Bonita is inviting vendors to participate with product demonstrations and raffle donations, noting that space for demo setups is limited and encouraging interested vendors to reach out directly to the store to confirm.
