LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada casinos grossing $1 million or more in gaming revenue generated net income of $1,697,540,577 during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

The 305 casinos produced total revenues of $30,817,837,749 during fiscal year 2025. Gaming revenue accounted for $11,216,361,427, or 36.4% of total revenue. The casinos paid $1,140,863,260 in gaming taxes and fees, equating to 10.2% of their gaming revenue.

Net income statewide decreased 34.8% from fiscal year 2024, while total revenue declined 2.2% and gaming revenue dropped 0.6%.

Clark County leads state in revenue

Clark County had 177 casinos grossing $1 million or more in gaming revenue during fiscal year 2025. The casinos generated combined net income of $1,502,015,332 from total revenues of $27,819,649,481.

Washoe County had 34 casinos which reported combined net income of $84,853,787 from total revenues of $1,691,284,605.

Elko County had 22 casinos with $93,294,672 in combined net income.

Las Vegas Strip net income drops

The Las Vegas Strip reported net income of $154,188,391, a decrease of 81.2% from fiscal year 2024. Total revenue on the Strip was $21,077,838,684, down 3.7%, while gaming revenue was $5,509,848,670, also down 3.7%.

Downtown Las Vegas casinos generated net income of $159,192,147, a decrease of 20.2% from fiscal year 2024. Total revenue was $1,621,861,159, up 0.7%, and gaming revenue was $812,244,965, up 1.8%.

Laughlin casinos reported a net loss of $54,787,028, a decrease of 758.6% from fiscal year 2024.

Other regions show mixed results

South Shore Lake Tahoe in Douglas County with seven licensees reported a net loss of $50,060,592.

Carson Valley Area with 15 casinos generated net income of $24,298,814. The balance of the state had 50 casinos earning $43,138,564 in combined net income.

In fiscal year 2025, 52 casinos owned by public companies accounted for 62.1% of the total gaming revenue generated statewide.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board released its Nevada Gaming Abstract – 2025 on June 10, 2026. The report includes combined financial information regarding Nevada gaming licensees grossing $1 million or more in gaming revenue during fiscal year 2025.
