LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified the officers involved in a June 18 shooting.
Officer David Plascencia and Officer Steven McIntire were involved in the officer-involved shooting in the 500 block of Miller Avenue in North Las Vegas.

Plascencia is 33 years old and has been employed with LVMPD since 2017. He is assigned to the Tourist Safety Division, Convention Center Area Command.
McIntire is 37 years old and has been employed with LVMPD since 2022. He is assigned to the Tactical Operations Division, Mobile Crime Saturation Team.
Both officers have been placed on routine paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of the incident.
