LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Strat hosted a daylong celebration for guests and employees with giveaways, live music and special offers to mark 30 years as part of the Las Vegas skyline.
A free poolside performance by ’90s rock band Better Than Ezra at Swim & Social was the centerpiece of the anniversary celebration. DJ Santos and Empire Records kicked off the afternoon.
The property offered anniversary deals throughout the week, including throwback pricing with the first 30 people getting Sky Jump for $30. Special offers were available at Top of the World, along with wedding proposal packages and room specials.

Senior Vice President and General Manager Skylar Dice said the tower continues the original vision of founder Bob Stupak to anchor the Las Vegas Strip. More than 120 employees working at the tower have been there since day one. The week began with a celebration for those day one team members, along with 20-year and 10-year employees.
“What’s really cool in terms of the people that come to our property, they really love the property. They’re very loyal. And the same with a lot of our team members,” Dice said. “We had the opportunity to speak to a lot of our day one team members as of why they’re still here, what keeps them coming back. And it’s really the sense of family and camaraderie that they have.”
Dice said future plans for The Strat could include new rides and attractions. The property will launch value campaigns over the summer and has a pool party concert schedule planned.
