LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect accused of killing a man in a shooting at a northwest Las Vegas shopping center, according to court records.
Court records identify the suspect as David Nathaniel Vasquez and show a warrant was issued June 18 after police said the gunman fled the scene.
Las Vegas police said the shooting happened just after 4:30 p.m. June 17 at a business in the 2100 block of North Rainbow Boulevard near Lake Mead Boulevard.

Police said a man described as Hispanic and in his 20s entered the business and asked to see a specific employee. After contacting the victim, a fight broke out, and the suspect pulled a gun, shot the victim, and ran, police said.
The victim was described as a Black man in his 30s. Officers found him inside the store with a gunshot wound. The victim died at the scene, police said.
Police have said the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
According to court records, Vasquez faces several felony charges, including open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, discharging a gun within a structure or vehicle in a prohibited area, and carrying a concealed firearm or dangerous weapon without a permit.
