LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Weather is impacting 911 calls to Nye County.
County officials say 911 lines are accepting calls but an outage is impacting AT&T landline customers.
The outage affects calls both to and from multiple cellular providers to county phone systems in Pahrump, Beatty and Tonopah.
Nye County’s sheriff told FOX5 they rerouted all their phone lines and are using cell phones that the calls are being transferred to.
The sheriff says they are not experiencing significant weather problems other than the phone system.
