HENDERSON, Nev. (FOX5) — The Clark County School District Police Department and the Las Vegas Raiders will co-host a road safety media event Friday morning to address safe driving habits in school zones ahead of the new academic year.
The event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the Raiders Headquarters and Intermountain Health Performance Center, located at 1475 Raiders Way in Henderson. The first day of school for the Clark County School District is Monday, Aug. 10.

Several CCSD officials are expected to participate, including Superintendent Jhone Ebert and CCSD Police Chief Jeff Clark. CCSD Board of School Trustees Vice President Irene Bustamante Adams, Clerk Lydia Dominguez, and members Lorena Biassotti and Ramona Esparza-Stoffregan are also listed as attendees.
Las Vegas Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan is also expected to take part.
Representatives from several local law enforcement agencies are expected to attend, including the Boulder City Police Department, Henderson Police Department, Las Vegas Department of Public Safety, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, North Las Vegas Police Department, and the University Police Department.
The event is not open to the public. Media outlets are invited to attend.
