Two fires set minutes apart
According to an arrest report obtained by FOX5, Clark County firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle fire inside the RV park on May 13 around 5 a.m.
Arriving crews found a fire burning in the bed of a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Bystanders approached firefighters during their response and showed them Ring camera footage that captured a woman wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt approaching a parked vehicle, lighting a paper bag on fire, and placing it inside the vehicle’s air conditioning unit.
Investigators note that bystanders presented additional video showing what appeared to be the same person, later identified as Pauli, retrieving the paper to start the fire from inside the RV park.
Investigation and arrest
Clark County Fire Department investigators were called to the scene and began an investigation. They later determined that both incidents were “incendiary in nature”, or caused by flammable materials, according to the report.
Investigators interviewed the residents who lived inside the RV where the second fire was set, and both residents were able to identify Pauli from the video. They added, according to the report, that they recognized her because she was evicted from the park around October 2025.
Other witnesses told investigators that Pauli been seen in the park recently.
Charges and competency
During Wednesday’s hearing, Clark County District Court Judge Christy Craig ordered Pauli to undergo hospitalization after she was found not competent to stand trial during a psychological evaluation.
Pauli will undergo treatment until she is determined to be mentally fit to continue the trial.
At time of writing, a future court date has not been set.
